Pharma College observes annual day

Bargarh, November 25 (odisha.in) The Pharmacy College at Barpali-one the leading pharma college in western Orissa recently observed its 22th annual day, college founder R.L. Hota said Sunday.

The college that also celebrated 46 National Pharmacy week 2007 also introduced new PG Programme (M.pharma) for the first time.

There is an increasing demand of pharma professionals in the country and the opening of the new courses will help produce such professionals in the region, inaugurating the new program vice chancellor, Biju Patnaik University of Technology Prof. Omkar nath Mohanty said.

The Pharmacy College Barpali has about 10 seats in M.pharma, college principal SK Panda told odisha.in.

Others who attended the annual day functions include Dr   KC Dash, Ranga Panda, and Dr KC Behera former MLA Rajib Lochan Hota, Dr Rebati Mahanty.

The meeting was presided by founder member RL Hota.  2 former governing Body members of the college Sachida nanda  Pujahri, Gaura Chandra  Prusty were facilitated n this occasion.

Those who graced the occasion were BPUT registrar DR A.N Acharya, Prof.  Jyotirmayee Jena, Prof GC   Samal Dr Gk Panda.  The functions followed by a grand cultural program and distribution of prizes and awards to the students wh participated in various competition.
