Berhampur, Jan 13( Odisha.in ) Dr. Mahesh Yadav, an Ayurvedic Doctor from Bhopal have chosen an unique way to attract the attention of the world community towards peace and harmony, by drawing paintings of world leaders by blood , which portray Dalai Lama's struggle for freedom of Tibet.
Dr. Yadav has been traveling throughout India for the last 10 years. Ever since he met the Dalai Lama in 1997, Yadav has been drawing paintings using his blood to create awareness among the public regarding the issue of Tibet.
He uses a 3 ml syringe to collect blood from his body to paint pictures of great personalities, including Mahatma Gandhi, Dalai Lama and Gautam Buddha etc.
A human right activist Dr. Yadav also appealed to the people of India and abroad to stop cooperating with China as it was violating human rights and was suppressing Tibetans with its tyranny.
He appealed the leaders of all the countries not to participate in 2008 Olympic Games to be hosted by China.
Yadav has launched a movement called the Blood for Peace under the banner of Mahatma Gandhi Global Amity Council.
His journey will end in August at Rajghat (Delhi), where he will be preparing a painting in blood and write a letter appealing for world peace and for the freedom of Tibet.
