Juvenile among two Maoists surrender in Orissa

Jajpur, April 8 (Odisha.in) Two Maoists including a 13 year old boy on Friday surrendered before police in Orissa’s Jajpur district, superintendent of police D.S Kutty said.

The rebels are identified as Kaka aias Bhima Hansada (21) and Krushna Sai (13).

Bhima joined with the Maoists in 2006. He was acting as section Commander for Angul and Palalahada area. He was involved in series of crimes including murder, attack on police station, extortions, he told Odisha.in.

Krushna joined the Maoist organisation two years ago. He was also involved in an attack on Bansapal police outpost in the mineral rich Keonjhar district in 2009; Kutty said adding that both would be rehabilitated as per government policy.
