Master weaver Chaturbhuja Meher gets another honour

Subarnapur, 07 October (Odisha.in) Master Weaver Padmashree Chatrubhuja Meher has been awarded UNESCO 2007 seal of excellence for his crafts, the craftsman said Sunday.

 It was awarded to him in recognition to his demonstration of excellence and standard setting quality in craftsmanship, creativity and skills and innovative application of indigenous material in the craft.

Prof Narayan Pruseth, Chairman ‘Kalabharati Ikata Museum’ has congratulated Meher for his latest achievement.
