RSS mourns over the death of Krishna Ballav Acharya |

Bhubaneswar(Odisha.in) Krishna Ballav Acharya who was the former Sangha chalaka of R.S.S for the Northeast region and an active social worker to k his last breath at the age of 93 on 18 th Dec. (Tuesday). In 15th Aug.
he was admitted in the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Science as he complained severe headache. After a long treatment finally he passed away.
On his death a condolence ceremony was held here. "He was a tough Sangha Chalaka" said the Mukhya Pranta Pracharak of Utkal Pranta.
In his youth he was the active member of RSS and managed to open a Sangha Sakha in Gaya.
Participating actively in the Non-Cooperation movement, he was imprisoned in Bhagalpur jail. Lamenting on the death,
Editor of Viswa Sambad Kendra, Sumanta Panda said that Krishna Ballav Acharya was energetically worked after the independence of India.
When RSS was charged for the death of Mahatma Gandhi, he got jail, protesting the against the charge. Like that, during the 1977 emergency, he got imprisonment, leading the RSS also he got the same treatment in 1992 when demonstrating in the support of the demolishing of Babri mosque.
Sri Jagdish Pattnak narrated the role of Krishna Ballav Acharya in the field of art, education and cultural development. "His effort in the progress of Nalanda College was incredible", he said.
Among others, Abinash Acharya Jilla Prachrak of Sangha, Jilla Sangha Chalak Raghunath Pati attended the meeting.
